For many years we’ve been snapping local holiday cottages, often working against the clock on changeover days before the next visitors arrive. Using appropriate props and ambient lighting, we aim to create a lived-in feel to rooms and gardens, inviting the viewer to step into the picture.
Travel and tourism
We also have a growing library of images from our overseas travels – China, Southeast Asia, South America, Cuba and Europe – as well as UK tourist destinations.
Since we first started producing walks booklets, we have been building up a photographic archive of wildflowers, insects and geological features – nothing fancy, just straightforward images for easy identification. They’re useful for interpretation panels too.
When budgets permit, we often buy-in images from professionals, but we also complement these with our own work, especially when producing holiday brochures and council newsletters.
